For many years I have donated a session to our neighborhood elementary's Silent Auction. Last year, this family got the winning bid on the session. I really enjoyed getting to know this family and getting to work with them. I love getting to meet new families!
The weather was a little windy, but the light was beautiful!
What can I say? I love, love, LOVE Senior Sessions! As usual, I had a hard time picking out which pics to post, but these are my favorites.
This was a session from a couple of weeks ago and I am thrilled to have gotten to know this amazing young woman! She and her mom were so much fun to work with and hang out with! Thanks Mom for driving and thanks for the java from Flipnotics. Yum!
Again, we went to quite a few different locations, as you can see.
We started at Zilker Park and then went down into Barton Springs.
Then we headed to South 1st Street and South Congress for some great color and texture.
After South Congress we headed to the Umlauf Sculpture Garden, the UT Golf Club (because S. is a big golfer) and ended at Selma Hughes Park.
It was a remarkably hot and muggy morning, but the light was great, but the clouds were light a wonderful big soft box in the sky!
These two little ones were totally adorable! The hair on big brother and the amazingly big beautiful brown eyes of baby sister were both to die for. Just a really sweet family!
I had so much fun doing this session! I had taken this gorgeous young lady's photo a few years ago with the rest of her family and was excited to see her again!
Her laughter is completely contagious and she has such an amazing personality. I know she has great things ahead in her future. And I have to send a shout-out out to her dad for holding that scrim for me! No squinting allowed!
I have had the pleasure of working with this family twice and with beautiful mom on a separate project and they are so wonderful! Both of these kiddos are funny and clever and smart and a pleasure to photograph.
We went down to Selma Hughes park to do this session and I love the way these came out!
